My name is Alysia Dirks and I am 22 years old. I go to the University of Nebraska Lincoln majoring in Graphic Design. In this class, I hope to learn more about food. Maybe not necessarily where it comes from but where it goes and how it affects our life, particularly our environment. I would probably go further into how we adapt to the environment because of how we use it. When working on my image library at the beginning of the semester, I found myself drawn to consumption and waste. I have never gone into this part of food and research before. I hope to learn a lot from this class!
